Description: She typically wears white cloth garments or leather armor, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 2'9" when asserting herself. Her chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.
Personality: She hates Halflings with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.
History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the north. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy brown stubble. He wears a tight fitting tan shirt and pants. He has a hunchback. He has brown hair. His amber eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He takes great joy in being the best Shepherd in town.
History: He comes from a rich western family. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He's also a talented Stylist, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Balam Weary, Male Tiefling [Permalink]

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy chestnut stubble. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a green coat. He has a hunchback. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His gold eyes peer out from beneath his broad green hat.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Balam embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Mercenary arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Balam took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. He bought a lance and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and money/treasure

Description: She wears a fancy grey dress. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her axe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. She keeps her auburn hair in a flapper bob. Her fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: Born in the south to a Animal Trainer, Hadwisa learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: She wants revenge against drow; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
