Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. She wears a deerstalker hat to hide her balding. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady copper eyes.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Leaf has worked very hard to control her curse. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it

Description: This tall, slender man wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He keeps his long auburn hair kept up in a rat tail. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He is a Layabout first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born in the west. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to end his boredom

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born to a Mercenary, her mother struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is her passion
