History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Sarai was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. She became a Interpreter soon after.
