History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ella is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her childhood dream was to be a Knight, but she was a colossal failure. She tends to her Hunter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Hunter responsibilities is difficult.
