History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Dara was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. After coming to the age of reason, Dûgza took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fortune-teller they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Locksmith, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
