Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. At a young age her father died while driving off some gnolls. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in spear use. After a long history of fighting, Mardred and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She got into the Soapmaker business at a young age. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Soapmaker and was forced into it by her family; and regain custody of her daughter
