History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: Standing 4'9", this woman wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates her frame. Her chestnut hair, when down, is lengthy. She has gray eyes and a tan hat with a white feather.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with dancing. She constantly tries to fill her life with dancing. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Birel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Birel. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Mayor and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Halfling compassion; and balancing her hectic life and new mayor responsibilities is difficult
