History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Carlin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Farmer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While he appears to be a normal Dragonborn, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Adelaide was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Adelaide never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants to open a new tavern
