History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Veloptima was taken on many hunting expeditions. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She bought a bow and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has worked as a Knight like his mother before him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
