Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A gifted student he started as a Bather, but he got bored and became a Hunter. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To be a Bather again; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: She is a physically imposing dark-skinned woman. She is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. She wears a deerstalker hat to hide her balding. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Engraver profession.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Vaina was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Sage for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
