Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. The war was a terrible time for him, and Elegant does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Kody embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. Kody is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Pennie was born with her father's beautiful face. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Blacksmith for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing her hectic life and new blacksmith responsibilities is difficult
