History: Baern was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. He now owns his own business.

History: Valorean was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He tends to his Sellsword job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. She found a children's book about a Halfling Rogue who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
