Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Valanthe grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Valanthe. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born in the south to a Farmer, Nyx learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: She was born in the east. Elama was born on a far eastern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Ploughman. She now mingles about in high society.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She struck the Fletcher job and began her own company from there.
