When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
