The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Hethress was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Soapmaker who has hired him part-time. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Brottor lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: Ribbles hails from a village terrorized by giants. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting giants, the young Ribbles began to lead the lost caravan. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
