History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She found a children's book about a Human Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Description: His skin is bronze and flawless. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He is an epitome of beauty. His red hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up work as a Cook and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cook responsibilities is difficult; and expand his business
