Personality: Marbas is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Marbas enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Dyer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Dyer. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.
