History: Born to a Painter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jacoba grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dwarven companion (her 'brother'). She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is a great chef.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Theirastra was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. She tends to her Marshal job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it
