History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Jo's homeland. Jo decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and a deep hatred of gnolls

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.
