Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She wears a brown cloak and cross-gartered pastel stockings. Her chestnut hair is knotted and matted. Her brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. At some point she was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is her passion

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A freak accident while working with his Bookbinder father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and money/treasure
