Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his bastard sword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His silver hair is unkempt and raggedy. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Damien is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: He is in excellent shape and is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His hair is golden and very short. He has a dull look in his amber eyes.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Sporting a brown mohawk this woman's hair draws a lot of attention. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Laborer for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Description: This western woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She prefers to wear flannel. She has a long white ponytail with little hanging trinkets. Her violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Bookbinder. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult.
