History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and sabotage a competitor

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: A middle-aged woman, she is dressed in a clean brown cloak covering her clean studded leather, and is pretty ugly. She sports red long hair. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Avice lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
