Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His skin is also unnaturally pale. Sporting a white mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Baern will drive conversation. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She wears a red tunic with brown highlights, and long yellow pants that bunch up around her shoes. Her brown hair is cut short. Her eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Nikki is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the west to a Marshal, Nikki learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Nikki alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
