History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting brigands, the young Makaria began to lead the lost caravan. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
