History: Born to a Roofer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization.
