History: Qualen was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. A true patriot, Paela would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born in a small forest village. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and many illithids want her driven away

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Merchant born in the past three hundred years. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Drifting hails from a village terrorized by drow. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He tends to his Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and balancing his hectic life and new merchant responsibilities is difficult
