Description: She is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. She carries with her a set of pickaxes, each one with a jet on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her gold unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Verin was born with her father's beautiful face. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by her earthly robes.. She has done her best to style her brass crest to look like a famous performer. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Bookbinder business.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Being a Bookbinder kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and a rival would like her out of the picture

His red hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. He has gray eyes and a brown hat with a green feather.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and wants to raise his children well

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a grey coat. His hair is auburn and very short. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents enrolled him in a Adept school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.
