Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Architect arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and seeks redemption
