Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Nija is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nija studied abroad. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 84. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Roge lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: Numba wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Wizard, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has never given up on her poetry dream.
