Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She has a large tan mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her black robe. Her blonde hair is long and unkept. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ranala fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: He is a husky man, who is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His hair is short and black. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and retire the richest woman in the west

Description: She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 4'10" when asserting herself. She wears a colorful flower in her cinnamon fur. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her first spouse was a Soapmaker, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
