Description: This tall, slender man typically wears black cloth garments or leather armor. With a patchy red beard and wild red hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: The child of a Mayor, who enjoyed hunting, Hûmgrat was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Hûmgrat took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor he uses now. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she's looking for her big break

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Akra and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.
