The war was a terrible time for her, and Gunnloda does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Blacksmith arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her childhood dream was to be a Stylist, but she was a colossal failure. She became a Blacksmith soon after.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. River liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.

Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Chaedi was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a stylist and was forced into it by her family
