History: Golm was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the north were limited. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and retire the richest man in the north
