She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ahlyssa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Ea alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now mingles about in high society.
