Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with white lining and desert motifs. Her black hair is wavy and long. Her amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Grai was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Alexandre hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alexandre fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
