History: Salanop hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins.
