He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During her travels, Ahinar and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Ahinar discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Ahinar fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
