Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Nija is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born in a small desert village. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he is dressed in an above average manner. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Curran's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Curran was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Curran was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Spice Merchant. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: He has a missing left leg. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He has dyed his greying yellow fur a little too much giving a sharp yellow color. His skin is flawless and his yellow eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shivering grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Shivering abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
