Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Dariff was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Miner business.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ahvain grew up listening to his father's many stories. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was born in the south. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.
