History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Malquis was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
