History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Bellfounder mother left her crippled. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
