History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Cora was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and she wants revenge against giants

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Serpent was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bowyer. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
