History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She now owns her own business.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. A true patriot, Ahvain would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Ahvain lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Miner, but he got bored and became a Layabout. He's also a talented Miner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by her family; and she has money and likes to spend it

His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.
