Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he dresses in blue turtlenecks beneath a brown coat with blue slacks. His hair is chestnut and very short. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Korfel is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He got into the Dyer business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dyer. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

He keeps his white hair in a pixie cut. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He's also a talented Junk Dealer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Jarana hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
