History: Thorin hails from a village terrorized by orcs. At some point he was captured by orcs and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Now he works as a painting tutor during his time off.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His hair is auburn and curly. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Orryn hails from a village terrorized by drow. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Therai grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
