Description: A middle-aged man, he wears bulky black painted plate armor, and is pretty ugly. His crest is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His fierce gold eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and many gnolls want him driven away

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Description: She is dressed in an above average manner. She has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. She has styled her brown hair well, parting it to the right. This hazel eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. The war was a terrible time for her, and Melissa does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.
