Scribe work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the south. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Marshal.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Marshal and was forced into it by her family; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tabaxis.

History: River was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Stylist, but he got bored and became a Crown-heir. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

History: She got into the Barrister business at a young age. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She's also a talented Bricklayer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and sabotage a competitor
