The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Beiro took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up kukri and armor he uses now. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
