Sekhmet decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Sun hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she wants to meet her childhood hero
