History: Born in the west to a Layabout, Althaea learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She struck the Layabout job and began her own company from there.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Shump was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and many goblins want him driven away

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dragonborn artifacts is her passion; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his mace with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His black hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Carrie hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
